Why Did You Get Angry After Getting Out On DRS? Warner Said

David Warner, who became a victim of DRS in the last match against Sri Lanka, expressed his displeasure and demanded to increase the accountability of field umpires.

The Australian opener had to say about his shouting after his dismissal, “I was very disappointed and it wasn’t just for me, shouting like that was out of anger and frustration.”

“Usually when a ball hits my legs from the outside off, I know it’s going towards the leg,” he said.

“I asked Joel what happened when I was out, and why I was sent out,” said the aggressive batter, recalling his moment of anger. He said that the ball had swung back.

Warner added that such a decision goes to his credit, but when you watch the replay, you get a little angry. However, this is beyond our control.

It should be noted that in the ICC Cricket World Cup, the match between Australia and Sri Lanka was going on, in pursuit of the target, opener David Warner was playing for 11 runs when he was lbw by the opposite bowler Madushanka.

The Kangaroo batsman immediately challenged the umpire’s decision but the DRS showed the ball hitting the wicket while Warner believed the ball was heading for the leg stump.

As soon as the Australian batsman saw the decision against him by DRS and Hawkeye, he screamed and hit his bat hard on the pad after which he left the ground.
