India’s Space Mission Lost Contact With Chandrayaan-3 .

Indian space agency ISRO has said that it is trying to contact its lunar lander and rover, but it has not yet received any signal from Chandrayaan-3.

In a statement on social media platform X, the Indian Space Research Agency said that attempts to communicate with the lander and rover Pragyan aboard the Chandrayaan-3 space probe have been unsuccessful.

The lunar lander, which has yet to receive a signal from the rover but is trying to communicate with it, said yesterday that ISRO hoped that its batteries would recharge and the module would wake up from sleep mode at sunrise.

It should be noted that Chandrayaan-3 was launched near the south pole of the Moon last month, after taking data and images, Chandrayaan-3 was put into sleep mode.

In a post on his social media account, India’s Minister of Science and Technology Jitendra Singh said that the ISRO team was trying to contact the space probe and said that the reason for the lack of contact was “cold weather” and Temperatures as low as -150 degrees Celsius may cause contact failure.
