Ishaq Dar said that what they are doing for the exporters and farmers while living in resources, the exporters have talked in rupees, now they will not talk in cents, and the textile sector should be charged 19 rupees 99 paise per unit of electricity. However, he clarified that the electricity rates are not only for the textile sector but for the five export sectors.

He said that the market started its work as soon as I returned, the government will have to give a subsidy of 90 to 100 billion rupees annually.

When the finance minister was questioned by the media, did he trust the IMF on this price of electricity? So Ishaq Dar replied that I don’t need to take the IMF into confidence, I know what I am doing, I have the justification, when the IMF people come, they will talk.
