Former English Cricketer’s Sharp Answer To Babar Azam’s Critics.

Former English cricketer Michael Vaughan has expressed his displeasure over the criticism of captain Babar Azam.

Speaking to a cricket website, former England cricketer Michael Vaughan said that captaining an ODI team is a difficult job as it requires a lot of management.

He said that sometimes in T20 cricket the game organizes itself naturally, I am not saying that the captain does nothing but T20 cricket does not require as much management as in ODIs.

He said that in 50-over and Test matches, the captain has to do a lot, which includes arranging the players and scenarios.

The former English cricketer defended Babar Azam, calling him a world-class player, and expressed displeasure over the news of Shaheen Shah Afridi’s expected captaincy.

Michael Vaughan says “I don’t like disrespecting Babar Azam, I think it’s disrespectful to him, cricket fans and critics don’t make any decisions until the end of the World Cup”.

He appealed to the cricket fans to “support the team during the tournament and avoid making any hasty decisions”.

It should be noted that due to the poor performance of the national team in the World Cup, cricket fans have severely criticized the captain Babar Azam.
