Babar Azam Will Start The World Cup As The Number One Batsman.

National cricket team captain Babar Azam will start the World Cup as the number one batsman.

According to the details, the International Cricket Council (ICC) has released a new ODI ranking in which Babar Azam’s first position in the batsmen’s ranking has been maintained.

The gap between India’s Shabman Gul and Babar Azam narrowed further. Babar Azam’s rating points remained unchanged at 857 while Shubman Gil’s rating points increased from 814 to 847.

Pakistan’s Imam-ul-Haq moved from the fourth to the fifth position and Fakhar Zaman is at the tenth position.

India’s Mohammad Siraj remains at the top of the ODI bowlers’ rankings and Australia’s Josh Hazlewood is at the second position.

Afghanistan’s Rashid Khan moved from fifth to fourth place.

New Zealand’s Trent Boult dropped one place in the rankings to fifth place.

Pakistan’s Shaheen Afridi is in the eighth position in the ranking, while Haris Rauf improved two places in the ranking to the 22nd position.

Bangladesh’s Shakib Al Hasan remains the number one ODI all-rounder.
